Friday 6th October

Getting up in five hours. Just been reading Hebrews 13 - really cool, and the bit about going outside the city got me thinking about Sodom. If you remember the bit about Lot leaving Sodom, then consider Sodom to be our old way of life, which we leave when we become Christians, as in "Come out from them and be seperate." only we don't leave physically but spiritually, we go from being in the world to being seated in heavenly places with Christ. And it's vitally important not to look back. Do you ever regret giving up some of the things you've quit doing since you got saved? I haven't, personally (I don't think so, anyway) 'cause what I've gained is so much more important. Anyway, I was just at a bit of a low point and am now feeling determined to live for God with everything I've got. Which I usually am, really, just got a bit distracted today.

Finally got round to listening to Josh's "Thank You God" song, which is cool, and Tony's "Always" song, which also sounds cool, only I have trouble working out the lyrics - might check to see if they're written down on Josh's site before bed. And I started learning Visual Basic yesterday. Had a chill-out thingy at Youth where I played an awful lot of table tennis - most exercise I've had for ages, and fun too! There you go, that's what's happened, good-night!
