Thursday 2nd November

Was in an identity parade last night - pretty boring actually, we spent an hour staring at a mirror! Then I was thrown out for having a pony tail and being too dissimilar! Went pretty much straight on to a missionary meeting, where the missionary was really cool - she was from Yorkshire, and said "right" all the time, just like I say "cool" all the time. So she was speaking my language! She was called Mandy, I think, and had been in Afghanistan, where the women all have to go around dressed as space aliens.

Anyway, tonight I'm leading worship at the week of prayer - there's a possibility that Gary might be nice enough to back me up, which would be cool. It's quite scary, 'cause I have no idea what I'm going to play, and I'm leading worship on Sunday and the following Sunday too! Aaaaaaaaargh! But God'll sort it.

Haven't got much else to say, really. Managed to achieve everything I wanted to on Tuesday - it was an 'evening off'. I did more than 30 minutes e-mailing, 1 hour programming Visual Basic, 30 minutes being with God, 30 minutes guitar practice, 30 minutes working on the church web site and I put some curtains up for my mum. No robotics, mathematics or Java, but there is a limit to what even the most determined nutter can do in one night. Should have proper rests, really, but I never seem to have time for any of these things - my attic's turning into a storeroom, which is depressing. Probably just got too many hobbies - mind you, I don't think everyone has to fight to get two free evenings in a week! Ho hum...

Going to church, anyway - don't feel up to it, but it'll be good and God will do stuff with it anyway. Sorry if this entry was a bit whingey - I'm tired, and possibly ill.

That's it for today. See ya!
