Just had a phone call from Gary - him and some of the guys from PYF are in a van, headed to Rumania. Which is cool. Kind of weird, too - wish I'd found a way to see Gary during the week, 'cause I'm really going to miss him. But the trip will probably be a good thing all round...
Started job at Mansfield High School last week - it's been dead nice so far, I only seem to have met nice people! Mind you, the kids haven't arrived yet! Have to see how that goes - originally I had this idea that if I really hated it I'd look for another job (preferably in St. Ives!) but that prophecy thing I had suggested that God might want me to stick it out - will just have to pray if it gets bad! But we'll see - might be quite fun. And Kevin (the guy I'm working directly under) knows Perl, and is certainly better on Linux than me, and has been dead helpful with it. So I'm learning a lot, which is always nice, 'specially since I wanted Perl so I could make a Guest Book!
That's about it - will just say quick prayer for the intrepid van people.
