Gary's been home - Thursday to Sunday afternoon. Went to the Bolton Octagon with him last night to see 'A Skull In Connemara' (which is a play). Decided to go far too late - had to set off at once and we still missed the first five minutes! Got good seats for the price of bad ones though! Play was good - haven't been to the theatre for ages. Came back to Burnley to help the MacDonald's staff get rid of their remaining food, and then went to Gaz's to watch 'Time Masters'. Excellent night - culture, fast food, and late night surreality! Also wonderful seeing Gary again, of course!

Watched video version of 'The Tenant Of Wildfell Hall' today. Not bad - the book's extremely good, which makes it hard to appreciate the film! Somewhat graphic, even for a 15. Was thinking about that book - occurred to me that if you're in a situation where someone is courting you or whatever, it's a good idea to watch closely how they treat other people, 'cause that's a pretty good guide as to how they'll be treating you after five years of marriage. Just a thought - in the book this guy's dead charming to the heroine, but is always poking fun at other people and laughing at their misfortunes. I could be totally wrong, anyway - worth considering though!

Was a good Sunday - had Ian preaching in the morning and Alan Sadler in the evening. Do have problems trying to remember two sermons in one day though! Will get tapes at some point though - remember about upholding the law from Ian, and Alan saying that we're all miracles, which I thought was rather nice. Do remember other things too, but I'd quite like to have the tapes right now really! Oh well - am sampling first three tapes from the Romans study, anyway - will be nice to get them all computerised. Do feel I want to get people like Ian on tape before he goes off somewhere - bit concerned that one day we'll be without all these nice leader-type guys, and it'd be nice to learn as much from them as possible before that happens!

Not to worry though - we'll always have God around to answer the really hard questions...

Don't think Julie was at church - bit concerned. Praying...
