Back from Phil's. Spent over a week there, which was really cool, although it became somewhat unproductive in the last few days. Mind you, that was partly because he's been downloading loads of 80's cartoons with his ADSL internet, and I was watching them! Saw Gary in 'To The Woods' on Sat 27th - play was very good, Gary was (of course) excellent, and I now know what Midsummer Night's Dream was actually about! Shakespeare's version was a tad confusing...
Had a car crash on Sun 28th - was turning into Rainbow (the supermarket) and failed to spot an oncoming vehicle. Car was fairly badly damaged, but no-one was hurt - am taking it down to the ambulance place to see if they think it's worth fixing tomorrow. I had to come back courtesy of the RAC - travelled up with a nice bloke who worked for them.
Am now on last week of holiday - how depressing! Am looking into some Linux stuff, trying to improve my network knowledge - bit of a departure from the programming, and should be temporary - think the thought of going into school has made me feel like trying to understand what's going on a bit better!
