Saturday today. (I'm observant like that!) Haven't done anything amazing - am reading 'Sylvie and Bruno' again, Rachel having returned it a couple of weeks ago. Brilliant book(s). Did a bit more really elementary work on Russian - am going to have to learn to write all over again! Might ask my mum for more help - she presumably knows how to form the letters. Quite fortunate that she studied A level Russian, really - God being nice to me again, y'see! Am getting quite good at European geography - not only have I now heard of Slovenia and Belarus, I even know where they are!
Am struggling a bit at work - kids' behaviour is getting worse, incredibly! Quite keen to move down to Cambridgeshire really - Phil's being dead helpful, keeping an eye out for jobs and stuff, but nothing's been quite appropriate yet... maybe I should just start my own company! Have (hopefully) finally severed ties with the Carphone Warehouse - they're evil, but then, so are all companies!
Am getting a hard drive for Christmas - am going to put it in my main machine, stick Linux on it (probably Mandrake) and start gradually moving operations over from Windows. Maybe I can migrate altogether by next Christmas - we'll see. Bit bothered about not being able to access old e-mails quite so easily, but few things last forever. Got Impact next week - wonder how many we've had now? Have got a webcam, and am considering trying to use it there - will depend on whether I can find software to display what's happening full screen...
