Haven't had much time for journal entries. Have now been in St. Ives for 3 weeks! Had forgotten how much I hated jobhunting! But am glad to be out of Mansfield - not a very nice job, I thoroughly recommend that anyone considering working in a school reconsider...
Will miss some of the people, of course - may well contact Adam & Kev when everything calms down a bit. Haven't contacted many people really, except when they contact me first! Everything's still a bit weird...
Living with Phil is cool - we seem to be doing quite well without having established any ground rules or anything. Of course, that'd need checking with him too! But is going well, I think. Have been to City Church in Cambridge, and been to my first cell group meeting, which was really good - everyone was dead nice. Have been to a barbecue at Corene's house, and had a fairly informal dinner party with Andy & Jenny at Phil's. And we should be going punting tomorrow, assuming we can find Corene and everyone else...
What else do I say? Life feels pretty chaotic right now - not much stability, still don't know if I'll be able to stay here. Feel a lot more alive than I have for a couple of years, though... Am hoping everyone's being very forgiving about me contacting them - am probably going to be a bit rubbish at it until I have my own place to live, depending on the circumstances then.
One last thing, am progressing quite well in C++ down here - having Phil around to answer the odd question makes a world of difference!
