Good grief! What a long time without a journal entry! There's NO way I'm going into serious detail on everything that's happened, but I can at least cover a bit of stuff...
I still have no job! I ended up back in Lancashire, rather depressingly, because I didn't want to hang around Phil's until he got sick of me, and I could look for a job almost as effectively from here anyway! Another thing I ended up doing was going in for a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) in the hope of becoming more employable. Passed it the other week with flying colours. Learned a lot of stuff in the process too - was good!
A week or so before that, I finally had my big toenails removed. Still in bandages due to repeated infections, but can at least look forward to being able to run again one of these days!
We had Christmas yesterday, and I'm seriously thinking I should do stuff a little earlier, like cards and things - staying up all night Christmas Eve does cut into the Christmas experience somewhat! Things are good though - am more-or-less just beginning to study philosophy, with a Nietzsche book from my mum. Suspect I won't like it - Hitler allegedly got some ideas off this guy - but it should be interesting!
That's about it - there's a trip to Scotland starting tomorrow that we're not going on. :( But we have a New Year's Eve fancy dress party, which could have potential. That nice Spanish girl who went to Manchester with me and Aenon and Gary is around again - with her family this time. Must dig out the photo's to show her - think I've got them...
Having leg of lamb for the Boxing Day meal today. Probably watching my new Terminator 3 video.
