Hmm. So I've got a bath running, thought I'd do a little update. It's mostly tiredness at the moment! Have had a few occasions where there've been opportunities to do stuff, (generally just hang out) and I've been saying no because I'm just too tired! Very annoying. I was trying to relax a bit about getting to bed on time, so I didn't get frustrated trying to hit an impossible target, but it just isn't working. Still, feel okay today - woke up early, but not massively too early.

Now this isn't very fascinating, is it? I finally went up Pendle Hill again on Monday, ran into a large group of lads, one or two of which used to go to Mansfield when I worked there. Was quite nice. Overdid it a bit - was nearly sick when I reached the top. If I can just keep it up it'll get faster and easier, though. I have an exam booked for Thursday 29th, following one of my church's 'super-busy weekends' or whatever they call them. Couldn't book it any later, couldn't really pass it if it was any earlier. Not very hopeful - have my final russian class for the year the night before, too! Have been trying to revise today, to try and be ready regardless, but my mind doesn't work like that - I do my best revision just before, and there will be no time...

Good opportunity to pray, I guess...

What else? Was just reading 'Going Postal', and realised an 'angelic language' shown in the text is almost certainly one of the (man-made, I think) 'angelic alphabets' listed on the Omniglot website (one of my favourite sites). Was also re-reading one of my quantum mechanics books recently and found it more convincing than before. Am still not totally convinced, though - it still looks a bit like both the particle and wave models are flawed, and an attempt to marry them together (which seems to account for a lot of quantum theory) is equally flawed. I kinda feel seeking a new model altogether would have been more productive. And yet, can I argue with the apparent results? Hmm. Was interesting, anyway.

And Anne is performing next week, with the Nelson Methodist band that includes some guys from the Temple St. youth group that I used to help out at. Am planning to go see them do at least the last set. Might even take my camera along... Should be cool, anyway.

My bath is calling! Must select appropriate reading material...
